2017 didn’t progress the way I wanted. My dad was very ill in late 2016, and I convinced myself that I needed to “honor” him by producing a Sudoku book (actually, I published two under the pen names Lilly Palmer and Manfred Palmer). Still on my “puzzle trip,” I created something new: A Knight’s Quest, which is part puzzle book, part story. I refer to it as an activity book for adults.
I started on Book 3 of The Silverton Chronicles, but got side-tracked–again–when I took part in a number of box sets.
My novella In Love With a Shadow was released as part of the HAUNTED BY LOVE anthology to benifit the March of Dims. My story is the strongest departure from my typical plots yet.
Next, my novella Accused is part of SEASON OF SEDUCTION, a winter-themed romance boxed set that’s available for pre-order and will be out in November 2017. My story is set in the same universe as The Silverton Chronicles, but is not part of the overall arc.
Hidden, a Silverton novella, is part of SIGILS AND SPELLS, a box set celebrating diversity. It’s up for pre-order and due out in January 2018. My story takes me back to my Urban Fantasy roots, and I’ve aimed for fast and furious.
A month later, in February 2018, my final box set will come out (as yet untitled). My contribution is a full-length shifter romance I’m hugely excited about.
Planned for June 2018 is finally the long-awaited release of book 3 of The Silverton Chronicles. Finally, Divide and Conquer is slated for an all-the-bells-and-whistles (re)launch in October 2018, with its brand new sequel a few months later.
In other words, even though it looks like I’ve been slacking in 2017, I’ve been busy behind the scenes, preparing for a huge 2018.

Hunters of Alethia – Byron is an unusual girl. For starters, she hasn’t always been a girl. She’s simply sharing her body with one now. But being corporeal is a bitch, second only to being chased by hunters. Along come Boots and Steel, Alethia’s guns-for-hire, who pick up Byron’s scent in no time. But Byron was Alethia’s most dangerous weapon for a reason, and she’s spoiling for a fight.
